*TENNIS VOLLEY* | Tennis (Forehand Volley) And Pat Rafter

jeffsalzensteintennis.com Today we are talking about the tennis volley. More specifically the tennis forehand volley. I know a lot of us have trouble with our volleys period. No matter if it is a forehand or a backhand tennis volley. Patrick Rafter had one of the best tennis volleys ever to play the game. The biggest key to Pat Rafters tennis volley was that he tried to keep his head as close to his racquet head throughout the tennis volley. Now you are probably asking what does this mean for your tennis volley. More coaches will tell you to punch the ball with a straight arm on the tennis volley. Do you think you get a lot of control and feel with a locked arm on your tennis volley? Next time try and get your actual head as close to your racquet head when you make contact on the tennis volley. Pat Rafter did this and so did Pete Sampras. Two of the greatest serve and volley players. Try and keep your two heads closer together on the tennis volley and you will improve your feel and control. Let me know if this works for you and what you think about keeping your head close to your racquet head on the tennis volley. http
