These players are taking the best of Roger Federer and improving upon it. This is why Roger Federer hasn't been as dominant in the past few years. Before Roger Federer gave up his #1 ranking to Rafael Nadal, nobody had seen a player move and hit with the grace and power he displays. Roger Federer dominated with his shotmaking, balance, and flexibility, and effortless play that was lightyears ahead of what the rest of the tour players could do. Now players have studied and learned from Roger and have adopted these key elements of his game into theirs.
