jeffsalzensteintennis.com The backhand overhead is a shot that makes most people cringe when asked to hit one. Most tennis players will do anything they can do to not hit a backhand overhead. I'm here to tell you that it is not your fault that you do not like to hit backhand overheads. You just have not been taught the correct way to execute the backhand overhead. When I was on tour I ended up studying countless hours of Patrick Rafter hit volleys including the backhand overhead. What you want to do is actually hit the ball and then recoil your racquet back so the butt of the racquet grip is facing up at the sky. When Rafter would do this on his backhand overhead, he would actually be able bounce the ball over the fence. I hope this backhand overhead trip really helps your net game. Let me know what happened when you went out onto the court to try this and leave a comment below I would love to answer any questions you may have on the backhand overhead. http | From: TennisCoachTV Views: 740 2 ratings | |
